GIRL SCOUT BADGE WORKSHOPS
The Emerald Academy (under our LLC, Live Your Dream Out Loud) is a preferred partner of Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois. In addition to the below workshops, we can also customize one for you if there is a different badge you're looking to earn. We can also hold workshops with multiple Troops together. It's a great way to make new friends...but keep the old.
I've been working with Girl Scout Troops for over 10 years and developed a popular workshop program at the dance studio I founded, Dreams Dance Academy. Like most studio owners, I started with the Dancer Badge workshop...and it kept growing from there!

ADDITIONAL NOTES

We ask that the troop leader arrives 10 minutes before workshop time

Troop members should arrive 5 minutes early so we can ensure a timely start.

Please remind parents this is a drop off/pick up activity. Troop leaders may of course stay.

Toy Designer Badge
2 Hours. $20 per child
This 2-hour workshop includes includes:

2 Hours. $20 per child
This 2-hour workshop includes includes:

This 90 minute workshop includes includes:

Draw, color, or paint

Move indoors AND outdoors (weather permitting)

Dancer Badge
90 Minutes. $15 per child
This 90-minute workshop includes:

Introduction to various styles of dance including jazz, ballet, and lyrical

Discussion on various styles of dance, how a dance studio operates and more

Performance for parents, and badge/certificate presentation the last 10 minutes

Scribe Badge
3 hours. $40 per child
This workshop is two parts. One 2 hour session and one 1 hour session. We suggest between 3 - 6 weeks apart.
